Context

Solopreneur coach, left corporate business development to start his own business. After a year, despite having been a success he was still struggling with imposter syndrome.

The Problem – Imposter Syndrome

Despite all his experience and understanding of sales, he was holding himself back. Not unleashing himself.

He felt stuck between a fear of failure and a fear of success.

He said the thing that so many say to me “I know the fears aren’t true or valid. I see they’re not logical. But I can’t change my behaviour.”

It was holding him back, he wasn’t moving projects forward, he wasn’t building his coaching business. He was procrastinating on supposedly simple tasks, over analysing, over worrying, over thinking.

And he was always seeing the ways something wouldn’t work – despite the fact his job was to help people see the possibilities and opportunities.

He’d get hung up on the no’s her got from sales calls, feeling like a failure, and taking too long to come back from it.

He decided to invest in the 4-week Leadership Reset.

The Result – Forward Momentum

Imposter syndrome gone.

“Those problems don’t feel like me anymore. I feel lighter and way less judgemental.”

His mental chatter was reduced, he felt more present and tuned-in. He’d taken simple actions that had been stuck, like getting on LinkedIn that he’d been trying to do for ages.

He’d started speaking up when he’d usually be quiet. Saying what he wanted to say, knowing he was OK with whatever other people thought of that.

And he was feeling more courageous on his sales calls. Knowing he was OK if they said no.
