Learn > Connect > Do

NEXT EVENT – Visual Communication Workshop : 3-6pm 6th December 2018

We’ve recorded info videos to help you choose if this is the event for you…

Video 1 – what we’re doing, why and how

Video 2 – you don’t need to be an artist!

Video 3 – about Learn > Connect > Do – what we do, why and what people like Cat gain from it

Learn > Connect > Do is a quarterly event in the East Midlands for people who care about making work better.

It’s a not-for-profit event with all profits going to our charity partner Twenty:Twenty, and thanks to sponsorship from PKF Cooper Parry we can give even more.

“I set up Learn > Connect > Do because nowhere else in the Midlands provides the space for people to come together, learn about key topics and leave with real, practical actions they can take back into work.” Helen Amery – Founder

Each quarter we have a different topic related to improving work and a different facilitation approachWe’ve hacked the Employee Experience, Time to Think’d Wellbeing, Coached on Coaching Cultures.  (You’ll find links to the back catalogue at the bottom of the page.)

All done in a fun, interactive and informal environment.  And with strictly NO SELLING!  I believe there’s great power from employed and self-employed coming together and that doesn’t happen if people think they’re going to be sold to.

If you also care about making work better message me or email me and I can add you to the mailing list so you’ll be the first to hear what’s going on.  (GDPR disclaimer!! – I don’t send you any other marketing from being on this mailing list – only info about Learn > Connect > Do.)

Watch this short video of what our delegates think.

LEARN > about BOTH the topic, and about the facilitation approach we use to explore the topic on the day – double the learning to take away and apply

CONNECT > meet others who care about making work better and who bring a different perspective, broadening your thinking

DO > leave with new thinking, more possibilities and ways to DO something different and better for the world of work

Doing good while you learn

As well as all this great stuff, coming to Learn > Connect > Do means you’re doing good in the world, because all profits go to charity – at least £10 of your ticket price every time.

Through 2018 we’re continuing to partner with the fantastic Midlands charity, Twenty:Twenty.  They develop and support young people with their learning and work opportunities so they’re the perfect match for a community like us.  Read more about them here.
